JP Cub Scouting

My name is Chas Horvath.  I'm retired and have lived in Jamacia Plain for 10 years.   My sons were active in Scouting during their youth and I also participated in a number of capacities including Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, and Merit Badge Counselor.

Scouting is now coed, has very robust procedures and training for safeguarding youth, and welcomes all sexual orientations.  I'd like, with the help of Council and others, to take a run at restarting the program in Jamaica Plain, initially starting a Cub Scout Pack, and once that is established, a Scout troop.
